32 and 64 bit agents
is there any place in the SCOM 2007 R2 admin console to show me which servers have the 32 bit client and which have the 64 bit version?

Hi. The architecture type isn't an attribute that is collected for an Agent. As a rule of thumb, the architecture of the server OS decides what type of Agent (x86 or x64) gets installed.Best regards, Marnix Wolf (Thoughts on OpsMgr)

Hi I have written a blog posting how to differentiate between x86 and x64 based Windows Server Operating Systems in SCOM. Per default, when a SCOM Agent is installed it will reflect the architecture of the underlying Windows Server OS. Therefore this posting can be used in order to see what servers run x86 Agents and what servers run x64 Agents. http://thoughtsonopsmgr.blogspot.com/2010/11/scom-r2-please-show-architecture-x86-or.htmlBest regards, Marnix Wolf (Thoughts on OpsMgr)

Hi, In latest version of OpsMgr MP we have the monitor 'Agent and operating system architecture are the same' which will alert you if the 32-bit agent has been installed on a 64-bit operating system. So, as Marnix said you can detect OS architecture(and create a views), and OpsMgr MP can detect if the 32-bit agent has been installed on a 64-bit operating system.http://OpsMgr.ru/
