32 bit drivers to 64 bit boot wim?
Hi,
I am deploying to 32 bit xp only. Do I need to add the 32 bit nic drivers to the x64 wim image aswell as x32?
Thanks.
Martin.

When you deploy 32 bit, you add the 32 bit drivers only.
What do you mean with the x64 wim image ? There is no x64 wim image for a 32 bit xp.

Jeronenda,
Sorry, not making myslef clear.
When your deploying with PXE you need to ansure the x64 boot wim is available on the DP aswells as the x32. My question is: Do I need to add the nic\storage drivers to the x64 as well as the x32 boot images. and can they be 32 bit drivers.
ThanksMartin

If you are not going to use the 64-bit boot image, don't worry about adding any drivers to it.
The point of adding the 64-bit boot image is so that WDS can extract the network boot program (NBP) and associated files from the 64-bit boot image. Even though you may be deploying a 32-bit OS, almost all systems are 64-bit and thus require the 64-bit NBP.
Once the NBP starts, it will downloaded the proper boot image via tftp which can be either 32 or 64-bit based upoin your task sequences.Jason | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jsandys | Twitter @JasonSandys
