I have unmounted ISO's for Windows 7, 8 and XP from DreamSpark. When I make bootable dvd's from them, only the W8 will load. W7 gets an ACPI fault BSOD and XP just gets an unqualified BSOD. I have gone so far as to reformat my hard drive and still I get the same results. I have tried doing it by updating and not updating the drivers before installation. Nothing makes any difference. Any ideas? I would much rather have XP or 7. I really think 8 sucks.
