ACS fowarder cannot connect to ACS collector
Hi! I have installed ASC in my SCOM environment and first it work fine with the connection betwenn the forwarder and the collector, then I installed the second collector to use as a failover collector. The second collection work fine but now all forwarder cannot connect to the collector anymore, just the forwarder in the same MS server with the collector work fine. I have delete the collectors and reinstall just one collector but still I have the same problem. I can see that Yabay had the same problem http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/operationsmanagerdeployment/thread/d3e0ac79-cf1b-45bf-9d92-68e80d0124c2 The error look like: "Forwarder unsuccessfully tried to connect to the following collector(s):" Error: 4369 CollectionServerName:51909, status: 0x80090322 (TCP connect), source: registry addresses tried:CollectionServerIP:51909 //Mats A

Hi, Please try enabling the forwarder again referring to the following guide: How to Enable ACS Forwarders in Operations Manager 2007 http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb381332.aspx In addition, regarding ACS high availability, please also refer to: ACS Forwarders and High Availability - Part 2 http://blogs.technet.com/b/neharris/archive/2011/03/23/acs-forwarders-and-high-availability-part-2.aspx ACS Forwarders and High Availability - Part 3 http://blogs.technet.com/b/neharris/archive/2011/03/23/acs-forwarders-and-high-availability-part-3.aspx Hope this helps.
