AEM: File Share Error
Hi,
I got an alert in SCE:
CrashListenerPA module finds fileShare is not reachable/accessible or validation failed. Workflow name: Microsoft.SystemCenter.CM.AEM.Internal.ResponsePublisher Instance name: \\server.domain.com\ErrorData Instance ID: {793DEA63-4CAC-1AF0-69FC-72D3653F540C} Management group: SERVER_MG
Try executing the 'AEM: Fix Permissions' task against the Crash Listener entity on this Management Server.
So I want to run this task, but I don't know how. I found the task, but when Irun the option"Create a new task" a dialog appears. I don't know which parameters I have to choose. He also ask for a script in the dialog. Where is the script located?
Please help, thanks.

Hi,
The problem maybe caused the AEM folder permission. Please the share folder errordata perssion. The AEMagent and AEMusers need to have full permisson on the sharefolder.
Also, you can delete this sharefolder and re-run the feature configuration wizard to recreate this share folder.

Hi,
I think we have to check the members of the AEMagent and AEMusers group.
Here the current situation:
AEMAgent --> BUILTIN\Administrators (S-1-5-32-544)
AEMUsers --> NT AUTHORITY\Authenticated Users (S-1-5-11)
Sharing Permission:
Everyone --> Full Control
Folder Permissions:
SERVER\Administrators --> Full Control
AEMAgent --> Full Control
AEMUser --> Special --> Traverse Folder / Exceute File; Read Attributes; Read Extended Attributes
Is this correct? How to re-run the feature configuration wizard?
Regards.

Hi,
Delete the share folder of errordata and then run following command:
SCECertPolocyConfigUtil.exe /uninstall /managementgroup <management group name>.
After that, re-run the configure product feature wizard in SCE console.

Hi,
very good. Now all clients send an alert:
Managed Computer is not configured to use Essentials update server.
No computer except the management server belong to the sce computer management group. What should I do? Remove and add all computers over the sce console? Or simply add the computers to the ad group manually?
Regards.

Hi,
After running configure product feature and choose domain policy, you can add computers into group manually to ensure clients can apply for SCE GPOs.

Hi,
ok the computers are back. But the problem with "AEM: File Share" still exists:

Hi,
If this is the case, you can choose do not collect application error when running feature configuration wizard. After that, close the alert to see if the problem will recurent.

It may be easiest to add the Data Warehouse Action Account to the Client Monitoring Action Account. After that you can can run the fix AEM Permissions Script by clicking Monitoring and selecting Crash Listner View under Agentless Exception Monitoring.The steps above should fix your problem as long as there are no firewall / VLAN issues.
