A question of Notes MA
Hi,everyone! I'm learning about FIM and make Lotus Notes as an external System. As we all know we can specify the "role" to the owner-mail-file when we register a person in Lotus Notes (such as Designer, Editor, Manager). I want to know if we can do it with FIM Portal creating the person. How?

I'm not sure this is possible, I think it is set to some value by default and if you wish to change it I guess you'll have to do it manually unless this could be done using an available attribute but I doubt it since you're provisioning the user with an option to create a mailbox and not the mailbox itself. Having a look at the "special" attributes FIM provides for the Notes MA I can't see any that match what you wish to do... http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms696552%28VS.85%29.aspx Maybe this collection of documents can enlight you... http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms698375%28VS.85%29.aspx //HenrikHenrik Nilsson, ILM/FIM MVP Blog: http://www.idmcrisis.com Company: Cortego (http://www.cortego.se)
