in my office for production server, i have installed sharepoint using administrator account. I have used different account for SSP. But i could not logon with that account in SSP. when i saw in the site collection administrators for the SSP site collection , it is taking administrator, but for SSP Service credentials, it is taking the account name which i have provided. Even after changing the site collection administrator to other account, i could not login.It is showing the login screen for three time. After that only blank screen is seen. should i use the same administrator account for SSP, which is used for installing Sharepoint or can i use another Account for SSP.

Hi Ahmed, Both account that run application pool of the web application hosts SSP and the account used for running SSP are same.Regards,Sunkrajesh
