Hello, I had an issue on our site server in which I had to do a restore from an image around a month prior. I did not do any type of database restore. We have a site server and a database server. This issue just started after any new advertisements I create whether they are for existing packages or newly created packages. After creating an advertisement when I go into System Status > Advertisement Status > Highlight the advertisement than right click on the site in the right side pain and select Show Messages > All There is some really bizarre behaviour. I am advertising to a single host in its very own collection but what I see in the status viewer shows by just looking without opening the error message is duplicate 10008 Messages, in other words both saying completed successfully but when I open each message and look and compare them I see 2 different advertisement ID's and 2 different Unique SMS GUIDS in the properties section of the message window however the description details are the exact same. I checked the actual target machine and that indeed did get and process the advertisement correctly. The duplicate message containing the different GUID than the intended host did not process the advertisement although like I said when you look at the status viewer it would appear that it did. Has anyone else seen this behaviour before?
