Alert about new software or hardware changed
I would like to know, with System Center is possible receive alert when a hardware or a software were changed. For example, if a user install a new software or remove memory, I could be receive a alert from System Center about that? Hmm. Technically, you can do that. But Operations Manager doesn't provide this out-of-the-box or with a publicly available management packs (that I am aware of). So you have to create your own management pack to achieve your goal. It can be a labour-intensive task and definitely will involve a custom scripts creation. As an example: you can write a script-based monitor that will query the Win32_PhysicalMemory WMI class, save the results to a text\xml file and (at the next run) will compare the a query results with a data in a file. If somebody removed a memory module - you'll 'see' it from a comparsion result. http://OpsMgr.ru/
