We just starting receiving an error when we try to print our reports. "An error occured during printing. (0x800C0005)". These same reports work fine on my localhost, our build server, and our beta server. This is only happening on our production server. I have removed the activeX control and reinstalled it. It did not work. We are ONLY running SSRS 2005. We never ran a BETA version. It was working up until recently. Please HELP! Thanks.

Hi Trish, A most uninformative error. You can enable Client print logging by setting the follow reg key. Once enabled, you can look in your print users temporary (cd %temp%)directory and find a print log file. I've emailed you the file. I had to create the Reporting Services key because it wasn't there. The file was located in my LocalSettings Temp folder. We believe itmight have something to do with our SSL Accelerator because the client is trying to access http://app.xxxxxxx.com:81/exec........ We have 5 applications servers, a SQL Server 2005 cluster, and an SSRS Server. All traffic is via HTTPS.

Hi, We are facing exactly the same problem in our production environment. Could you find a solution to yours? We do not have the Key.. [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Reporting Services]. We have the key 90 under SQL Server not 80. Saunak, The key for logging did not change between RS2000 and RS2005. You still need to put the pring logging key at [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Reporting Services] In regards to the issue Trish had to solve. This error was caused by a setting in the SSL Accelerator, BigIPthat they were using. Once they solved that issue(wrong port used when printing), the print issue went away.

Brad, We had to go live with the issues and hence the delay. We are not using SSL since the application is hosted internally within the firm. But some funny things are happening with Print. The application is accessed globally (from about 100 countries). We are only facing this problem when people are printing out from places where the network speed is not very high (which of course does not stop them from doing other things). It is not happening in the begining of the print, but after a few pages (10, 12, 15 etc.. that too is random). I am also getting the problem in print functionality. Your help will be much appreciated. I have a report with bar charts with 2 pages. When I try to print the page 1, it just worked fine. For page 2 also it just worked fine. But when I try to print the all 2 pages at one time, I am getting the error "An error occured during printing (0x80004005)".
