Anchor ID vs Relationship Criteria
Hi,
Please could someone explain the difference between Anchor ID vs Relationship Criteria (FIM Sync Rule) in basic terminology.
The way I see it:
Anchor ID is a unique value inside a data source/target...something to help FIM differentiate one value from another(it has no real relationship with any other object in any other data source/target (e.g. the auto-incrementing value in a SQL table)
Relationship Criteria is how FIM matches one object from AD for example with another object in SQL for example(e.g. displayname)
Comments?
thank you

The anchor is the link between an object in an external system and the partner in the connector space.
The relationship criteria is the link between an object in the connector space and an object in the metaverse.
