Hi Guys, I have one secondary site that refuses to build machines. I have done such allot of reading and everything points to the Network Access Account. I have followed the recommendations and have come to the point where I am looking at just creating an offline build to get this site working. Hi Micheal, I have been told that I dont need to create it as it must exist on the primary only. This is what I asked in a previous post. It makes sense that I should see it under the Accounts tab on the secondary. The classification for the problematic site under Account Usage is Client Push Installation only. Yet when I check on a working secondary site it has both Client Push Installation, Network Access Account. http://www.networksteve.com/enterprise/topic.php?TopicId=39724 is what I posted on a previous occasion. Hi It is a lite touch installation. So the process is: CD in and it goes thru the winpe boot process. The advertised Task Sequence is selected All the Application associated with the task sequence is resolved. The cd is then removed and the machine rebooted. The Apply Operating System component then fails with this error. I can map from another region to that exact share. I have tested DNS and can ping another site server. Is there any other type of test I need to run? Regards, Carlo

Hi, I had the engineer rerun the build and at the error, got them to press F8 and could ping the primary on FQDN. Other servers can be pinged. I am then assuming that DNS is working as well as other networking components. I can post the entire log if requested. The reason I only posted a snippet, its from when the errors start appearing.

I am not able to map to that share from the machine. I can ping that machine from across the wan and I am receiving an IP. Hi Carlo, Any update to your problem? I have been banging my head against the wall for a couple weeks now with the exact same problem. Our company purchased a new model of laptop, and cannot get the "Applying Operating System" TS to finish. I can image our older models using the same image without error. Same error code as you and my SMSTS logs look similiar to what you posted. Just curious if you have found a resolution.
