Hi, If I update an App-V package what will be checked by the clients to determine an update is available before streaming? I found some contrary info. Will it check the Source Version? OR will it check the Data Source? The clients are never aware of the datasource itself; they only "know" what's on DPs. So the first statement is true for clients. The second statement is true from a siteserver point of view (when distmgr updates the package).

So if we update the package via the wizard and we do not fill another version in the wizard (n+1) the clients will not notice the update?http://nicosienaert.blogspot.com/

The clients will only be aware of a change if the package version (ConfigMgr package) changes. That's extremely easy to test by the way.
