Authentication issue
Have SSRS 2008 and SQL 2008 on one 2008 R2 server. If I go to
http://servername/reports from the SSRS server the SSRS report site works. If I try from another server using
http://servername/reports I'm prompted for username and password and after 3 attempts receive a blank page but if I use IP addreess instead of servername the SSRS site come up. On the SSRS server the rsreportserver config
file has been changed to RSWindowsKerberos and RSWindowsNegotiate authentication and SPN's have been setup for the SSRS server and SSRS service account (setspn.exe -a http/ServerName Domain\SSRS service account and setspn.exe -a http/ServerName FQDN\SSRS
service account).
Thanks

Hi,
To access the report manager from other machines, the user account of the other machine needs to be added as "BROWSER" in your Report Manager.MSBI Developer

TDPN,
The Domain\users group has already been added to the SSRS site with Browser, Content Manager, My Reports, Publisher, Report Builder rights. With no change in logon and password prompting from other machines.

Hi ,
Please make sure that the IP and the machine name have been correctly mapped. One more option you could try is to add the link to local intranet zone and then make sure "Autotmatically Log on to the intranet zone" is checked under internet option settings.

Hi OkcThunderFan,
Could you please check the Service Account which is configured on your Report Server machine? If we configure a domain user as the Service Account, the report server must be configured to use NTLM authentication.
For more information, please refer to these articles below:

Hope this helps.
