BDP not installed
After configuring a system as branch distribution point, the smspg$ directory/share is not created. When trying to replicate a package to that BDP, package status says "installation pending". In PeerDPAgentLog i find some CTM job errors "<![LOG[Error creating CTM job (0x8000ffff)]LOG]!><time="13:16:12.140+-60" date="02-23-2010" component="PeerDPAgent" context="" type="3" thread="2924" file="pdpjob.cpp:4550">" On D-Drive of the BDP machine a directory named BDPTmpWrkFldr has been created.Does anyone have an idea of what issue is preventing the BDP from installation?RegardsAndi

Hi,
Check that the configmgr computer account is an local administrator on machine configured as BDP. Also, for a BDP to be functional, you must have a standard DP that must be BITS-enabled because a BDP is a client that downloads packages via BITS from a standard DP, before it can serve other clients. Also if your standard DP is protected, please check that your BDP is also inside of that protected boundary.
