Backing up Windows Live Mail

Hi

My PC is on Win7 and Firefox

Due to possible Operating System problem I have been advised to back up all important folders which I am able to do except Windows Live Mail and the Created Folders. I don't know how to do this and I need help.

After that a reformat will have to be done.

Thanks

Ben

I've replied with the link to the Windows Live forum.    Asking the question in the right place is a very good first step to get a solution.

Thanks for your response. Sorry but I'm still having a problem.

Can't see where to post my problem. All I see are previous answers to problems, but where do I post my problem?

Thanks

Ah. Sorry. To post a question on these Answers forums, locate the "HOME CATEGORIES PARTICIPATE ... menu at top of the page. Click on PARTICIPATE and select "Ask a question" from drop-down menu. Not very intuitive :-(

Hi Pavel

Got it and done. Thanks alot.

I read up some of the previous answers and I have two questions:

1.  MSFT says you must sign-in to WLM, but I never see any sign-in box. Thru the years I click on my WLM icon and it opens fine. So how to sign in?

2.  The answers are to backup emails and contacts, but no answers on how to back the folders (standard and created). Any ideas?

Thanks

Ben
