Branch Distribution Point - Install Pending?
I've got 5 BDP's, but one still keeps saying Install Pending... for one of the packages. The other two are working fine. The only thing I see in the logs is "the version is different" I've tried refreshing and updating on the BDP as well as prestaging and running the branch task with no success. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the SCCM client and that hasn't work either. Any ideas?

I would try to pull the package off entirely - see if the install pending goes away. I don't have a good feeling it will, but give that try. If it does, send it back. Other packages are fine?

Other packages on that BDP are fine, and the same package on other BDP's are fine. I tried deleting it and sending it back and it hasn't worked :(

When you deleted it, did the status update in the console to show that it was no longer pending? Should probably also check distmgr and replmgr logs on the site server....maybe sender as well.

first delete packages and then remove bdp.after that add bdp and install packages to bdp.it will work properly

I tried creating a completely new package and still says Install Pending... I do see this message in DataTransferLog on the client. DTS logon task failed with code 0x8004100e.

Anything in distmgr, replmgr, or sender on the parent?

You might also want to check the pdpagent.log on the client side to see if it is throwing any exceptions. Thanks,Bhaskar

PeerDPAgent - Pending package SYR0001E version 8 does not match local package version 6. (I keep refreshing/updating the package to change the version and it doesn't help. no errors in distmgr, replmgr, or sender logs.

I got the same issue too. In some of the BDPs. I get the same error in Peerdpagent.log It always happens when I update the package in some BDPs. Could anyone find reason for this? cheers, PeerCheers, Peer.
