So I want to setup a branch distribution point at one of our remote sites with a small number of users at it. The issue is that this site falls within the AD boundary of our main site. As would setting up an IP boundary. The other issue is that the wan link between the two sites is tiny but we only want systems at that site to pull from that distribution point while users from our main site will not be able to pull from it. So I'm curious if I setup that BDP at that site, will those clients only pull from that server? Or is it still possible for them to come back to the main site and systems from the main site pull from that BDP if we don't have a boundary setup? As always thanks in advance for your help! Scott

The BDP needs to be part of the ordinary Client boundary. Clients will pull from the BDP as long as its online. When it's offline they head for the Primary Site unless its protected. Read for more information here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb680853.aspx Nicolai

Yes but the issue is we have a boundary (Call it BD1) that is setup at the primary site (call it PS1). The remote site (call it RS1) falls within that same boundary. It is also apart of the same subnet as PS1. Will clients from PS1 be able to pull from the BDP that would be setup in RS1 because they are all apart of the same boundary?
