Calendar Connect To Outlook and Minimal Download Strategy

Hi,

Is there any prospect of a fix for the issue described here? Or a better work around?

Go to a calendar in SharePoint, click the Calendar tab to see the ribbon, 'Connect to Outlook' is usually disabled. All permissions and other settings are fine. When you refresh the browser (F5) the 'Connect to Outlook' is magically enabled.

Hi bp-j,

For this issue, I havent seen a fix for it instead of refreshing the page.

A considerable workaround is to use JavaScript to refresh the page everytime the page is loaded, however, this may affect the performance.

Thanks Qiao, but it appears that connect are not accepting feedback on SharePoint at this time. Do you know anywhere else I could post this bug?
