Hi I've made an assets library in a Document center site. I've uploaded a video in it and now I can't delete it (not even whole library). It says it's on hold. But I don't have any holds in whole site. It seems that is a folder content type and I can't delete it. Other documents from other document libraries from the same site I can delete. Any ideas what's happening ? Thank's Sorin Sandu

Hi, What do you mean by on hold? When you delete the video what error message do you get? When upload documents in a document center, you can set to automatically declare it as a record. In this way, we cannot delete it until it is undeclared. So you can first check whether the video is checked out by anybody. If it is checked out, you can choose Check in or Discard Check out.Change to the All Assets view.Then right click on the video and choose Compliance Details. See undeclared it if it is declared.Try to delete the video again.Or you can try to Open the library in windows explore. Check whether you can delete the video there. Hi Thank's Only with windows explorer I've deleted it. I've tried all your solutions: was not checked, in Compliance details was "This item is not subject to a retention policy" But I have an eDiscovery Center with a eDiscoery Set with source on that document center. This set has a filter on some other user (not me) and with Enable In=Place Hold checked. But it says that only 1 item (for that particular user as author) is on hold. So not my video. The error (which is still present for other videos in that library) is Folder cannot be deleted because it contains items which are either on hold or declared as records. Any other ideas ?Sorin Sandu

Hi, Do you try to delete a folder which contains multiple items? If so, you need to make sure that there are no items been declared as record, or any items on hold.
