My company uses Verdana as the default font for reports. I have two separate templates that I use when creating new reports, one in portrait and the other in Landscape. The objects on this template are in Verdana but while creating the new report, all new objects default to Arial. Is there some way I can alter these templates so that all new objects default to Verdana? If I wanted to change the default font size for objects, is that possible?
Hi,
Based on my research, I’m afraid by design, we are not allowed to set default font. However, there is a workaround by changing the default report template, please refer to the link below:
Thank you for your understanding. If you have any question, please feel free to ask.

Hi Tony
I do use templates and I have modified the text objects in those templates to use Verdana.
What I don't think is possible is to change those templates so that when I create a new report from one and add objects to it, they'll default to Verdana. Or am I missing something obvious?
Regards,
Nick
Hi Nick,
I’m sorry the workaround is no help for your needs and I should realize it earlier. And you are right, whether using a custom template or not, new objects always default to Arial.
Since this limitation is by design, it is my pleasure to help you to reflect the issue to the proper department for their consideration. You can also cast a vote at the submit link in the previous reply. If the services request frequency, we may include it in the next release.
