I deploy WinXP SP2, After the client get an IP adres, it started loading the files for Windows PE. After loading files, i see the Windows Loading bar. After that, i get a screen with System Center configuration Manager 2007 logo in the background. A popup window says: Initialisation hardware devices. After initialization it says: Windows is Starting Up. After that it says: Preparing Network Connections. After that, the client reboots imidiately. The NIC resolve a valid IP and a can connect to the SMS-Shares Diskpart show the the HDD is correct installed. as oddvar says, verify network connectivity by pressing F8 to bring up a command prompt in WinPE here's how to enable that feature if it does appear to be no network then you'll have to import network drivers (win7 for sccm 2007 sp2) into your boot wim, udpate the dp's and try again. This happens if you donot have the required NIC drivers for the machine model you are deploying to, in your Boot image. Steps: 1. Dowload the NIC drivers for the particular machine model 2. Import those drivers to SCCM, while doing so it will ask for adding those drivers to the Boot Image, here select your boot image and finish. 3. update the DPs with the new Boot Image. try building your machine after these steps. It should work fine.

you access it by being physically present at the computer, pressing F8 (only works once you have enabled command line support in the boot image). You can copy the log files to share folder during the task sequence execcution failure instead pressing F8 and looking for Log files if you are not infront of your failed TS computer .Steverac posted this on his blog http://blogs.msdn.com/b/steverac/archive/2008/07/15/capturing-logs-during-failed-task-sequence-execution.aspx May be you can try this to save time. //Eswar Koneti @ http://eskonr.wordpress.com/

Thank you Eswar for advice, reading logs always help to find the reason. I managed the log files like this - after entering F8, I first mapped SCCM's share in command promt like net use L: \\sccm\share\logs and then went to x:\windows\temp and copied the .log file to the share. This way I can use trace32 very easily.
