Hi everyone, I have a matrix that on the column grouping data by Year and then by Quarter. I use a matrix because the number of year are variable. I want to drill down the Year. So, i created a parent group Year and a child group Quarter (in the same column below the Year group in a new row). The detail data (Sum(Fileds!Amount.Value)) are in a TextBox (in the same column below the Quarter group in a new row) When I expand an Year, it shows me the 4 quarter columns with their data. How can I do this: When the column is collapsed by Year (one column for every year), in the detail data must appear the sum of Amount field for that Year. Thx, Radu.

Hi Radzyck, That's strange. The Matrix control automatically rolls up the numbers to the Column Group in scope. I guess you are placing the Sum (Fields!Amount.Value) expression in the Value cells. What value do you see when you are collapsed to the Year group? Also, can you post a screenshot of your matrix layout expanded to the most granular level? Hi Radu, By default, when the column is collapsed by year, in the detail data it will appear the sum of the Amount field for that Year.
