I have a primary and secondary DPM server. Everything works great except one DB on the secondary server. DPM will not or can't create the replica from the primary. The protection status says "Unable to configure protection" If I then run a consistency check it shows up in the jobs as pending and does nothing. Just sits there and finally errors out as below. I have even done a manual replication and it still does not work.
The strange thing is there are several other databases that are from the same protected instance of SQL that work fine. I have tried everything. Adding the DB to a new PG, adding it to an existing, increase volume size. Nothing works. I can get any other protected source from Primary without issue. Just this one DB (Analysis Services DB) but I know that has nothing to do with it as I have another AS DB coming to secondary without issue.
Event Viewer doesn't help much. (DPM-EM Event ID 3170) Task is cancelled because some other task in agent is not responding on server.domain.com machine. (ID: 32557)
Setup is as follows.
Both Primary and Secondary DPM is SCDPM 2012 SP1 fully patched to 4.1.3419.
The DB in question backs up fine on the Primary.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
