Yep, there are ways to create multiple web console servers for the web based clients, but those all point to the SDK running on the RMS to the load all comes back there. The full console always connects directly to the RMS. Sometimes there are a lot of console connections due to a few monitors with dashbards hanging against the wall or people who have the console open the whole day and are not looking that often or intensely. In that case you could increase the console refresh rate from default 15 seconds to perhaps 30 seconds or 1 minute. This decreases the load as well. Registry Path Registry Value (DWORD) HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Operations Manager\3.0\console\CacheParameters\ PollingInterval 0 – 10 (0 turns off automatic refresh and requires manual refresh via F5. I think MSFT recommends no more thant 50. Furthremore, you should understand that the WEB console puts more strain on the SDK service compared to a full client console.
