Console to VMM 2012 SP1

Hello,

Im trying to connect throght APP controller 2012 SP1 to VM on SVMM 2012 SP1, the VM is running on Windows 2008 R2 SP1 Hyper-V.

I can connect with IE 10 in windows 8 without problems , but I cant do it with IE9 in windows 7 , when I try it I get a Blank screen on the console.

I cant see any error on the webconsole.

I have tried to install the ActiveX manually downloading it from the web.

I put my user on the Virtual Machine Manager Servers of the hyperv machine and it isnt work too ..

If I set the owner to my user on the SVCMM it doesnt work.

The only way to show the console is  be  administrator of the HyperV machine where is the VM , so I have a permission problem , but I dont know where ...

Any idea ?

Thanks again :)

UPDATE:

I have tried to connect with my user with machine that is outside of the domain and it works , it ask for credentials at the console web page ... Is the same IE version and patch version ...

Thanks for the lead.  I confirmed that the remote machine that I was using to access the App Controller web page and the VM console had an older version of the SCVMM management console (version 2008 R2) and thus an older version of the VMMCTLAX plugin.  I set up a new system and installed the newer VMMCTLAX plugin (32-bit version) by logging into the App Controller web page and launching the VM console... still no luck.

The system I had set up was not yet joined to the domain, so I did that, rebooted, and logged into Windows with the user account that I had setup as the administrator role in App Controller - SUCCESS!

I decided to try another test - I closed IE and opened it again using RUNAS a different user (one that hadn't been granted any access through App Controller), logged into the App Controller web page with the prior account that I had set up, launched the VM console - it failed to connect.

So it seems that you must ensure (1) that the correct plugin is loaded, and (2) that the IE process has been launched by the user that is permissioned through App Controller.
