Content DB profile is not synchronized
Hi All,
I have many site collections using different ports on MOSS 2007 server. all applications host same SSP. But there is one site collection on port 80 having profile not synchronized. i have checked other site, profiles are synchronized
perfectly. I also check SSP profile, everything are synchorized from AD.
I have tried many things, deleteoldcontentdb, reschedule synchronization, etc but no luck.
I am still using SP1. Is there any solutions for this issue without upgrading it to SP2? since many applications on the server, thus we don't want take a risk for now by upgrade to SP2.
Appreciate for any helps.
Regards,
Nail

You have here a Microsoft document talking about the fixes with "Service Pack 2" this can help you make your decision.

Is recomended make the update to SP2, there are a lot of problems solve with SP2, but like i say before the last decision is yours.
Verify if this article can help you about the SSP sync.

Great, it works!
Sharepoint Service Timer is in Stopping state. I forced to stop it, change cache.ini, delete all xml files and start the service again. now profiles are synchronized.
Thank you!!
