I'm trying to create a path from one farm to another using an account from the target server but it gives an error Either the URL for the destination Web application is not valid, or you do not have permissions to the Central Administration site on the destination server farm.Error details: Content deployment cannot authenticate with the destination farm. Check the username and password and try again. Error: 'The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized. altough I tried the account I use to login to the central administration of the target machine

Same problem for me. Have2 serverfarms where I've never had this problem before.No problem accessing the CA on the target. Anyone got a clue where to start looking?

Same problem seem to be related to alternate access mapping (when i use servername:portnumber instead of alias of central admin it works) ....
