I have a client where I am currently deploying FIM 2010 and initial functionality is simply basic attribute flow from AD into the FIM Portal and SSPR. Everything is working beautifully but the customer is requesting the ability to customize the end user experience when interacting with the client side extensions to register for SSPR. The reasons for customizing are not to replace the Microsoft logo but to add additional detail to the informational text within the registration process and later for the password reset dialog as well. Their reasoning is that the informtion provided is somewhat confusing to users and they would like to write there own instructional information and have this text appear in the dialog windows when a user registers or attempts to reset their password. Has anyone done this or could anyone point me in the right direction for attempting something like this? Based on my research the files associated with the client side extensions are mostly dll files so I am not sure if there are XML files located elsewhere that could be edited to achieve this behavior or not.
