I'm not sure that alert I posted has anything to do with it, but thats the only error in the event log currently, However one thing I noticed is looking at the Health Explorer for the RMS server, the DATA Access Service - Windows service shows Not running, but it actually is running, and even though I have rebooted the server, the last time it shows a State Change was hours ago, it just never gets reset back to service running, so I tried to manually reset the health, and it just hangs. Do you feel it may be a database issue that is not letting this reset?Paul Arbogast

Take a look at this thread: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/systemcenter/thread/01cd4140-a880-4792-be1d-930ab5d1958a Regards, Marc Klaver http://jama00.wordpress.com/

What I ended up doing is completly start from scratch, I blew away the database and just reinstalled everything. I still dont know what caused the problem, but thankfully this was a test environment, so I did not lose anything.Paul Arbogast
