DateRange Prompt
Hello, I have three prompts in report, name,DateRangeFrom,DateRangeTo.The two prompts can only have the following two conditions. 1>DateRangeFrom is null and DateRangeTo is null 2>There is a filled in DateRangeFrom and a filled in DateRangeTo. but not the following two conditions. 3>There is a filled in DateRangeFrom but a null in DateRangeTo. 4>There is a filled in DateRangeto but a null in DateRangeFrom. What I have made is let the two prompts have the four conditions above, but cannot limit it only 1> and 2>.I have tried many ways but cannot meet the need,is there anyone can help me ? Thank you so much....

Is there a possibility to add jsp code in ssrs so that it can note the user when he enters a value in DateRangeFrom but leaves the DateRangeTo null?

I'm not sure you will be able to enforce the rules you want, however, as a sort of work around you could insert a text box into the top of your report with an error message and set its visibilty to display if the paramter selection doesn't meet you're criteria and equally at the same time hide the report table so they can't see any results which may occur

Hello, I have tried it yestoday, but this way can make that when the user select the wrong prompt, the report can still run,and if the data of the report is too much ,it will be very slow. Is there any function that can reject the report to run if the user select the wrong prompt, and then pop up an error message in the report? Thanks
