Deadline possible on Individule Advertisements?
Hello, I'm trying to deploy an application, and I want to do it much like an update. I want it to push to the user's computers on a Monday and allow them the option to run it when convenient (since it will force a reboot). However, if they do not do the install by Friday at lunchtime, I want to force the install. I thought I could do that by setting the start date as the date desired, and then setting the mandatory date to the force time, however in testing I'm finding that it isn't working. So my question is... is this even possible? Also, what is the point of the mandatory install time if the app will install at the schedule start time anyway? Thanks in advance for all your help. Thank you!

Hi, Sure it's possible, just configure a mandatory deadline Friday at 12:00. Allow the users to run the advertisement before the assignment and make sure that the advertisement is also configured to display reminders. Both settings are configured on the Interaction tab (advertisement properties).Kent Agerlund | http://scug.dk/ | The Danish community for System Center products
