In the application properties, under the Distribution Settings tab, there ar options about distributing content. The default is to manually distribute content to each DP assigned to. Is there any way to change this default? I want to automatically distribute all content to all DPs (subject to their schedules/throttling/etc).

That setting is for distribution Points that you have setup to use prestage media, so for a normal DP the settings doesn't affect the behaviour when copying the content to a DP. It will use you Schedule, et.c

I think you want a Distribution Group that contains all your DP's. Add the application to the DP Group and it will distribute to all your DP's.

We pre-stage all of our DPs before we send them out to the field. Is that not normal? Or are you saying that enabling pre-staging makes them default to pre-staging? And how does the DP setting change the setting on the application?
