Is there any way to temporarily disable account restrictions to make account changes other than editing the Restriction Tabs again? Example: I have Custom "Window Restrictions" and "FeatureRestrictions" on an Account. I need tomake a desktop changewhich is currently restricted. How can I turn off the restrictions so Ican make the change? It appears to me I only have two options. I need to know exactly which restrictions to remove and then put them back once the changes have been made or I need to select No Restrictions and redo my Custom Restriction after the changes are made. Is there no way to say " disable these restriction until logoff?

Hi, You can use the Export function to save the profile restrictions. Once they're saved, you can open the user and select No Restrictions, then log on as that user and make whatever changes you need to make. When you're finished, log off and log back on as admin, then import the previously exported profile using the same user name.

Have you actually tried this? After importing the user, logging in as the user produces a "Windows 2000" type look. Start menu is all gray, with a blue empty desktop background. If I need to make changes to a user profile, how do I this when I am using "Custom Restrictions" ?? It seems that Custom Restrictions isn't saved the same way High, Medium, Low are.
