Hi all. I wanted to use the Report Properties|Description within the report.I thought it would be something like Globals!Description, but it seems not. Has anyone else found the syntax to use that (or Author) within the body?

I'm pretty sure that when i tried to do this I was advised that The author and description properties are not available to textboxes. Therefore you need toeither hard code the values into a textbox(es) or to add the information to a table and pull it into the report using a dataset.

If anyone comes across this as I have, I used a method similar to Will's. I added a dataset with the query like this: Select 'Friendly Report Title' as ReportTitle I then was able to display the field in the Header. It would have been nice to display the description or have a Report Name Alias, but this is pretty easy workaround.
