Distributed Applications levels limit
Hi!
At a customer I have run into one problem that I never have seen into before.
We use several DAs and some use the same objects, one for the applications SLA and one for the applications map. This mean that we want to use the same Distributed Applications Component (DAC). For example
SLA DA application XXX
- we create one DAC for the application XXX (Application XXX
SLA).
- we create one DAC for the application XXX services (Application XXX services).
- we create one DAC for the application XXX databases (Application XXX databases).
- we add the DAC (Application XXX databases) and (Application XXX services)
into the DAC (Application XXX SLA).
-
Save this.
Map DA application XXX
- we create one DAC (Services Application XXX - Map) and
add the DAC (Application XXX SLA) from the DA (SLA DA application XXX
) and
save.
Now I want to add some more objects (service) into the DAC (Application XXX services) that have been added in this application.
But I cannot, I
don't have the ability to add any object into the DAC (Application XXX services). To solve this I need to remove the DAC (Application XXX services)
from DAC (Application XXX SLA) and add the new service into (now I have the ability) the DAC (Application XXX services).
Is there any limit with levels in DA? Or how many times I can reuse the same DAC inot other DAC?

Hi Mats,
are you getting an error message? as far as I know, there is no limitation in Distributed Applications that are related to this issue.
Please let me know if an error is being logged, either in the console or event logs.
Thanks!
