Document Library Permissions themes and quick launch
Setting up a DL for none AD users. When logged in as the none AD user the custom site themes are not being applied? I've tried give the user read access to the theme no luck and the themes list no luck. Any idea what access needs to be given to render the custom theme? Second question: Same user when logged in sees the main Quick Launch items. (Libraries, List, Discussions) Although access is denied when clicked it would be nice just not to see these quick launch items. Any idea what access needs to be adjusted to not render these items? TIA

Hi Milo145, From the official document http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint-server-help/permission-levels-and-permissions-HA010100149.aspx ,If you want to render the custom theme, at least you need to give the user design permission. About your second question, here is an article about it: http://blog.medhat.ca/2008/07/how-to-edit-group-on-sharepoint.html For more information, please refer to the following link: http://briankgough.wordpress.com/2007/06/01/role-based-access-to-quicklaunch-links/ Thanks, Lhan Han
