Duplicate SMBIOS UUID or GUID
Turns out we have some PowerSpec computers that all have the same SMBIOS ID, they are showing up in the SCCM properties as "System UUID". So this makes the OSD task sequences fail to find the correct policy/advertisements. Does anyone
know of a tool to change this ID?

Hello - What about the GUID? Have you tried to update the BIOS? Can you keep the UUID number blank so SCCM won't take it?
Also, see the below thread same kind of issue but for DELL system? Worth going through?

Thanks for the reply. I tried to update the BIOS but they're already on the latest version, and the BIOS was updated a few months ago but they are still duplicates. I added the BannedGuids registry value and restarted the service but the
client still didn't boot PXE, and SMSPXE.log on the MP looked the same as before.
When you said "What about the GUID" what do you mean by that? If you're asking if there are duplciate SMS GUIDs then no, the GUIDs are unique but the machine I'm trying to PXE boot doesn't have a GUID or a client.
When you said "Can you keep the UUID number blank", are you talking about the Import Computer Information under Computer Association? If so, I've tried adding it with the MAC only, no UUID.

The BIOS GUID is set by your vendor, so if they are the same on multiple computers, you should contact them to have that fixed...
