EMET 5.1 and windows 10 TP?

Hi!
I'm running fully updated 64 version of windows 10 TP, when I try to install EMET 5.1 I got that error:

Service 'Microsoft EMET Service' (EMET_Sevice) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.

here I've found a hint, (I was going to post a link but apparently its verboten) problem is that there is no EMET service listed in services.msc in fact the only 2 services starting with E are EFS and Extensible Authentication Protocol.

How can I install & run EMET on my machine?

sincerely,

simon

Hi,

Open services.msc (as admin) and start Microsoft EMET Service

Press "try again" in the installation and it should now work

Thank you kindly for your answer.

It seems that I've forgot to refresh the list of running services (I though they would be refreshed in real life).

Thanks, problem solved.
