Endpoint Protection in unmanaged State

SCCM 2012 SP1, Have some machines showing EndPoint Protection Deployment State in "Unmanaged" state. I looked through other threads to find a solution, but none found. What can I do to get these machines in a managed state?

You've set up and deployed custom client settings to manage SCEP, correct?

Yes, I have some machines that are showing up Managed.

Yes, I know this is an old post, but Im trying to clean them up. Did you solve this problem, if so what was the solution?

Since no one has answer this post, I recommend opening  a support case with Microsoft Customer Support Services (CSS) as they can work with you to solve this problem.
