I am trying to save site as template and I am getting below error.

Microsoft.SharePoint.SPException: Error creating solution. The maximum total file size limit (50000000 bytes) has been exceeded. 

at Microsoft.SharePoint.SPSolutionExporter.GenerateSolutionFiles() 

I have tried increasing the max-template-document-size as well as large-file-chunk-size

but no luck..

there are a few issues I'm running into with Sharepoint Online (Office365 E3)

I noticed in Sharepoint Online Powershell there is no Export or Import Command. So I am stuck with saving a Site Collection as a template in order to clone the site so we can use the template as a sandbox....or to take backups...so we must include all Content to be backed up.

With this being said...I can't save the site as a template because of this error...

So MS is saying that the largest site collection template can only be 52MB....surely I'm missing something here...

I can save the large backup template on a local hard drive...but I don't see this option anywhere.

the sharepoint online powershell commands are missing export, import and backup....it looks like Sharepoint 2013 Server Powershell is far superior.
