hi there: I've encountered the following error msg when I try to deploy a report via BIDS. [rsErrorLoadingCodeModule] Error while loading code module: ‘RSCommon, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null’. Details: Could not load file or assembly 'RSCommon, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. never mind, I just found out the reason. The RSCommon reference is deployed on the RS server while I do not have a copy in my local machine. The report was imported from somewhere else.--Currently using Reporting Service 2000; Visual Studio .NET 2003; Visual Source Safe SSIS 2008 SSAS 2008, SVN --

Can someone please delete this thread? It's showing up high on google but provides no useful information; the signal to noise ratio is worse for this articles existance.
