We have 4 Exchange 2010 CAS servers behind a Load Balancer and a single public facing IP and a public URL.  While trying to configure the Exchange Connector in SCCM 2012, I get the error "failed to open run space..." when I point to the public URL.  I am able to successfully connect to a single CAS internally, but not the internal URL/LB IP.  I have seen serveral threads that seem to support that connection to a single CAS works, but is it documented that you can/cannot connect through a load balancer?

We use Outlook anywhere and just opened the internal connections to the CAS servers from the SCCM servers for testing purposes and cannot leave them open.  Is there something on the LB's that need adjusting?

Yes, I know this is an old post, but Im trying to clean them up. Did you solve this problem, if so what was the solution?

Since no one has answer this post, I recommend opening  a support case with CSS as they can work with you to solve this problem.
