As an Application support person, I use Extraview (extraview.com) application to track the Request, it's progress and resolution (with Userstamp and timestamp). Can it be done in Sharepoint? We are just looking for a replacement/alternative to ExtraView. Please help. Thanks.

Depending on your requirements, you may have to write custom programming to achieve the desired results.
