F5 load balancer question
Currentlyour SSRS 2008 farm is behind a Cisco load balancer. We are going to the farm behind an F5 load balancer. This is the version of our load balancer. BIG-IP 10.2.0 Build 1789.0 Hotfix HF2
We have HTTP logging enabled for our SSRS farm. We like to record the source IP for HTTP requests. Once we move behind the F5 load balancer the source IP recorded in the HTTP logs shows different IP's on the VIP for the load balancer. To get the clients
source IP in the logs an F5 ISAPI filter needs to be installed on the server. We have done this on other farms that have applications that use IIS but doing this for SSRS is a different animal.
Does anyone know if it is possible to get an ISAPI filter working on SSRS for the HTTP requests?

Hello Florida_guy,
The HTTP listener in Reporting Services does not support ISAPI filters so the configuration will not work. SSRS 2008 is not dependent on IIS anymore like the previous versions (SSRS 2000 & 2005).
