FIM 2010 Password Reset
Hi, I´m going to use Password Reset, So I´m reading this http://technet.microsoft.com/es-pe/library/ee534892%28en-us,WS.10%29.aspx, in Before You Begin is part that says: A server (FIM 2010) that hosts the FIM 2010 server components. This server must actively synchronize user objects between the FIM database and Active Directory® domain service. So, how can i synchronize user objects between the FIM database and Active Directory® domain service. ?. Regards.

You probably want to take a look at "The Introduction to inbound synchronisation" - probably the easiest way to get your AD users provisioned into the portal. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee534911(WS.10).aspxSadly the example doesn't use an AD MA as the source, it has a file MA. Publishing AD from 2 sources doc is also helpful if you ignore the 2nd AD http://technet.microsoft.com/es-pe/library/ee534908(en-us,WS.10).aspxFor Self Service Password Reset (SSPR) make sure you populate the domain and objectsid attributes in FIM, as well as those listed in intro to inbound sync. To populate domain, put it in the inbound sync rule attribute flow as a constant string e.g. "CONTOSO" or to put it in the AD MA attribute flow as a constant string flowing to the MV domain attribute, then flow MV domain attribute into FIM domain attribute.

Hi Capriole,Yes, As you said "The Introduction to inbound synchronisation" just explain a simple example and doesn´t use AD MA as the Source. So, You have more detail information how to " synchronize user objects between the FIM database and Active Directory® domain service. "?.Regards.
