Hi, Technet has a wonderfull step-by-step to configure FIM CM to issue user certificates - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/fim_cm_test_lab_guide(WS.10).aspx What we are looking for is how to setup the FIM CM environment to be able to issue Smart Card certificates (+ write them to the card) and we would like to use the concept of the enrollment agent. Please could someone point us to a similar guide - thank you. SK

What kind of smart cards do you want to use? Dependent on the smart card vendor you have to install a vendor specifc smart card middleware on the FIM CM Management workstation and define smart card enabled profile template in FIM CM./Matthias

Hi, Have reviewed the link, however, it does not really cover a very basic scenario of how to configure FIM CM to use the 'enrollment agent' so that someone else (Smart Card Admin) can issue a smart card on someone else's behalf. thanks
