FIMma Account Elevated Privs
I am unable to get past the "connect to database" section of the creation of the FIM MA without elevating the privileges of the FIMma User. Domain Admin works nicely. I am sure this should not necessary. What am I missing here?

I had a similar issue with all-in-óne FIM installation (AD, SQL, WSS, FIM all on the same box). When trying to connect to the FIM database a security eventlog message told me, the account in question has not been granted the required logon type. Granting the FIM MA service account "Logon locally" user rights eliminated the issue./Hope this helpsMatthias

Ah right, that makes sense, the service account is a "regular" user and only administrators have logon locally privilege OOB on a DC.You won't need to do this outside of a small, basic lab as users have logon locally privilege on member servers.
