I am not sure where this should go, but hoping someone in MS care about this.

I used File and Settings wizard to "save" SP3 wiht IE8 just in case.

Unfortunatelly I had to restore crashed XP, AGAIN. Started with XP SP2 CD and run the saved File and settings only to end up with some corrupt IE favorites, SP2 and IE6.

And no programs at all ( VC++, OpenOffice etc.)

What good is this wizard? I would say it does not do didly. ANd I am not about to test is again!!!

PS so where is Windows XP forum????
