Files accumulation in Inboxes
Hi, I see many files accumulated in Inboxes. The site is not able to replicate with Parent Central site. Please advise if i can delete those backlogs. Else how to tackle it. The SMS Executive service was stuck, which probably led to this issue. Replmgr.box/process has many folders created with a Central Site NAme & each folder contains many files. Huge count of files in folders: Distmgr.box, Schedule.box/outbox/lan, Schedule.box/tosend Please advise. Thanks in advance.

But what are you doing about the site communication issue? Should you fix that first, otherwise the problem will come back again? http://www.enhansoft.com/

Best not to delete them, can you work out the problem with inter-site replication? Do you know why it is unable to communicate with the Central? Intentional?

Earlier the SMS Executive was stuck, hence the data got accumulated. Now things are fine. But now its not able to process due to heavy backlog.

The problem with deleting the files is that you will lose whatever is being replicated upwards, mostly status messages I expect, losing this will give the Central a distorted view of what is happening on that Primary and anything underneath. My recommendation is to let it continue replicating its payload to the Central. If you have the sender address to the Parent restricted, open it up. If you urgently need data coming back from that Primary and want someone to confirm it'll be ok to delete, I wouldn't take casual advice off the internet, I'd contact CSS.

Can you check the database, table, software file and sw inventory, and else. might be some database table rows went with huge size, you have to check this, if the table, rows size went huge then those files will not replicate with Db and will stuck in inbox folder Sharad Singh | My blogs: SharadTech | Twitter: @MrLucknowWale |
